I got it in the mail a few days ago and have been having fun with it since.The metal hilt is very durable and well constructed. It's not an exact movie replica, the hilt is a little bigger than the ones they used in the movies because of all the electronics they had to stuff in there. But it's not overly huge or anything, like those cheap $15 you can buy at any toy store. The blade is just awesome. The bright blue shines and glows even in well lit environments. But when you turn off all the lights and turn it on, it just looks really cool the way it glows in the dark. I thought it was also cool how when you turn it on or off, you can see the glow of the blade expanding and retracting as if it was a "real" lightsaber.
