It works great. But the transformer it comes with is a piece of junk; many reviews for this antenna will verify that the bundled transformer is poorly made.This transformer has gold plated leads on both sides and the plastic sheathing feels more secure than the old transformer that I removed. Signal quality of my picture is still crystal clear. This is an excellent upgrade to the stock transformer. I ran 6 feet of 18 gauge speaker wire from my shortwave radio and connected it to the transformer via spade connectors. My Grundig S350's shortwave reception was improved greatly. The transformer arrived on time and in perfect condition. I am very happy with my purchase. The Coax connection was typical of a cheap product and did not feel like it really connected well. It was worth the $2.50 with free shipping but don't expect a higher quality product because of the list price. |
